Kairo Studio — Bilbao, Basque Country

Your business isn't like any other. Your website shouldn't be either.

I design and build every website from scratch, no templates, for hotels, restaurants and local businesses. Not one looks like another, because none of those businesses sell the same way. Below you'll find several live: open them and browse before deciding anything.

[ 01 ]The showcase

Real websites. Open them and browse.

Anyone can show a pretty picture of a website that doesn't exist. There are no screenshots or mockups here: each card opens the actual site I delivered to that client, right inside this page. Scroll, open the menu, view it on mobile. It's the only proof that matters.

I've delivered nine projects so far. You can step into five of them right here.

[ 02 ]How I work

Four steps. No surprises.

I don't disappear for a month and reappear with a website you weren't expecting. You watch it grow and decide on what's already in front of you.

  1. 01 / CONTACT

    You reach out

Tell me about your business and what you expect from your website. No endless forms, no commitment.

  2. 02 / BRIEFING

    We talk

You explain how your business works and what your customers need. That's where the fixed quote and the plan come from.

  3. 03 / DEVELOPMENT

I build it and show you

I design and code from scratch, in stages. You see real, browsable progress, not sketches.

  4. 04 / REFINEMENT

We fix it until it's right

You tell me what doesn't click and I change it. As many times as it takes. It doesn't go live until you're happy.

[ 03 ]Who's behind it

Kairo Studio is one person, and puts a face to it.

My name is Mikel Fernández, I'm 24 and I work from Bilbao. I've been coding for five years and I trained at 42 Urduliz: a campus with no classes and no teachers, where you learn by solving real projects and defending them in front of other students. It sounds odd, and it is, but it teaches you something no template can: how to build things properly under the hood, and to answer for them.

Beyond web development I work with systems, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. I don't mention it to show off: I mention it because it's the reason your website loads fast, doesn't break on an old phone, and doesn't depend on ten plugins that might stop working one day.

I'd rather deliver few websites and have each one done properly than fill a catalogue of templates with the logo swapped out.

I work alone. That means the person who answers the phone, the one who designs and the one who codes are the same person: no salespeople promising things nobody ends up building.

[ 04 ]The service

What's in, and what isn't.

I'd rather tell you upfront than afterwards. That way you know exactly what you're hiring and what you'll need to sort out yourself.

Included in the project

  • +A unique design. Built for your business. Never reused for another client.
  • +Coded from scratch. No page builders, no bought themes.
  • +Mobile, tablet and desktop. Tested on all three, not adapted as an afterthought.
  • +Technical SEO foundations. Titles, structured data, sitemap and Google-ready markup.
  • +Speed and accessibility. Fast loading, usable with a keyboard and screen readers.
  • +Copywriting. If you don't have it, I write it and you approve it.
  • +Unlimited revisions during development, until you're happy.
  • +30 days of support after delivery for minor tweaks and bugs.

Not included (told upfront)

  • −Domain and hosting. Registered in your name so the site is truly yours. I guide you through it and handle the publishing.
  • −Ongoing maintenance. Can be arranged separately if you want it.
  • −Professional photography. I work with the photos you have; if there aren't any, I'll tell you what you need.
  • −Ad campaigns or social media management.

Every business is different, and so is the price.

The price depends on the scope: sections, languages, whether you need a menu, bookings or a gallery. We talk, I send you a fixed quote in writing, and that's where the surprises end.

[ 05 ]Testimonials

What the people who already have one say.

Three businesses that came to me with the same doubt you probably have: whether it's worth paying for something made to measure.

"We had a ten-year-old website that nobody could read on mobile, and nobody booked from it. Mikel rebuilt it entirely and now people message us straight from the page. What surprised me most was that he understood how the hotel actually runs before he started designing anything."

Javier R.
Hotel · Andalusia

"I gave him four loose ideas and he handed back something quite a bit better than what I had in my head. I asked for three changes and he had them done the same day. No posturing and no fine print, which is rare enough."

Marta L.
Restaurant · Bizkaia

"I'd asked for quotes from two other places, and both offered the same template with my logo slapped on. Mikel made me a website that looks like my salon, not a catalogue. You notice the difference the moment you land on it."

Nerea A.
Beauty salon · Bizkaia
[ 06 ]Frequently asked questions

What people usually ask before deciding.

A template is built to serve thousands of different businesses, so it never quite fits any of them. Your customer lands on it and sees the same layout they've already seen on twenty other sites.

When it's coded from scratch, the structure, copy and design respond to how your specific business actually sells: what your customer looks at first, what doubt holds them back, and what action you want them to take.

It depends on the scope: number of sections, languages, whether you need a menu, bookings or a photo gallery. That's why I don't publish a set price: it would be a made-up number that means nothing until I know what you need.

After we talk, I send you a fixed quote in writing before starting. That's the final price: no new charges appear halfway through the project.

A week at most. Most sites are ready sooner.

The only reason it might take longer is if I have several projects running at once. In that case I tell you upfront, with the quote, with a specific date, and I don't move it without telling you.

Before I start building we talk: you tell me how you picture the website, what you like, what you don't want to see at all, and what absolutely has to be there. That's what I work from, so what you get doesn't come out of nowhere.

I deliver the finished website and you see it in full. From there you tell me what works and what doesn't, and I fix it. As many times as it takes, until you're happy. Those revisions are included: no extra charge.

No. The service covers the design and development. The domain and hosting are registered in your name, so the website is genuinely yours and you don't depend on me — or anyone — to move it.

I guide you through registering them, tell you exactly what to get, and handle the publishing myself.

I'm based in Bilbao, but I work with clients across Spain and abroad too.

The whole process works just as well over video call, phone and email. The closeness is in how I work, not in the distance.

Not much: a conversation so you can tell me how your business works, your contact details and hours, and whatever photos you have.

If you don't have copy written, I'll write it and you approve it. If you don't have photos, I'll tell you which ones you need and how to get them without overspending.
